The Xaphoon Has Arrived

Today in the mail I got my first birthday present - a Xaphoon! It’s not quite a sax, not quite a clarinet - but something in between. They’re hand made in Maui and have a most original sound. I only had a few minutes to play with it tonight but I was able to get a sound out of it. I can’t wait to play with it more tomorrow. I’ll post more about this as I learn.
