Starsucks Coffee - Cheap Refills, Save $10,000

Wow - I may have to rethink my entire opnion of Starbucks now. I learned today that when you bring your used cup back in to Starbucks, they will refill it for .54 cents. If you buy two small coffees (I refuse to call them tall, or grande/veinte whatever the hell it is) a day, @ 1.65 each, that would be $3.30/day. If you save your cup each day and get a free refill, that would be only $2.19 - a grand savings of $1.11 per day! Compounded over 20 years at 6% interest, that leaves you with $10,257.30 in your pocket!
NOW, if you really want to be cheap, and you reuse your same cup for those 20 years, you’d save $2.22 per day, leaving you with $20,329.79! Who says being cheap doesn’t pay off?

Of course all of this is assuming that a) the price of Starbucks coffee stays the same after 20 years and b) that Starbucks in 2027 won’t notice you’re using a cup from 2007. Then there’s inflation, etc etc etc.
Anyway, as much as I dislike Starbucks, this definately makes it just a bit more appealing!
how would you hold your cup to keep it sturdy enough? the first suit you ruin because the bottom fell thru and you got hot coffee all over yourself would ruin your calucations.
